I'm writing this review on a Friday evening, after work: I want to get back to playing "Not for Broadcast" ASAP. This game deserves a far better review than this, but here is the key point: - You want to play this game. It is an absolute masterpiece! On my shortlist of favorites with "The Outer Wilds" and "The Stanley Parable" Buy this now.
This was an interesting concept for a game, but I didn't find the execution really engaging. It was kind of cool to see the idea, but I couldn't get very far, it just wasn't interesting enough. I'm sure there are plenty of people who will like it, but people like me just won't enjoy it.
Absolutely amazing game, I have not finished it at the time of writing my review, However! The game is so immersive and has such a unique play-style, being able to see all the behind the scenes of the news station is very very cool and on top of that playing a multi-choice story is a very interesting choice. For anyone wondering, this is not playable on current steam deck proton, so to anyone who reads this and wants to play this game, I would recommend putting your game into at least proton 7 to make it playable. I did read that some people had no issues with it though, so in case yours is not working, try this instead of trying to download a different version of the game! But yeh, amazing concept and very well thought out game so far, probably a 7.5/10 for me!
