Nova Drift distills the mechanical depth of an action RPG into classic arcade space combat. Control an endlessly evolving bio-mechanical ship, face legions of strange and deadly foes, and ride the wake of a dying star across the void.

Runs well on modern hardware.

I made bombs. I filled the screen with my bullets. In my most successful run, I abandoned normal weapons and even my shields to turn myself into a bullet. I felt unstoppable.
The gameplay is really relaxing while still being engaging/challenging and offering a wide variety of builds. 40 hrs in and I've barely scratched the surface interaction-wise. Many indie games nowadays come out with significant features missing but nova drifts been great since day 1 and continues to improve, deserves all the success it has
Great game, especially for the price. I was initially irritated that it wasn't a twin-stick shooter, but then after playing, that choice made sense. It really is about drifting around and the momentum and inertia of the various objects, including yourself. Lots of replayability with new unlocks, weapons, ships, mode modifiers, and just a ton of play styles. Felt too easy in the beginning, but it gets really tough! Highly recommend. If you're curious enough to read these reviews, just buy it. It's the cost of a dinner at a fast casual restaurant, you cheapskate.
