Overlord

I think that Overlord proves, how good games were in 2000s. Very basic concept taken to bizare lenghts and thus creating a very unique and fun expirience. It is a shame that games today do not diviate this much from the mainstream. And also the comedic atmosphere of a very dark story... just perfect. Absolutely loved every minute of it. 10/10 for me.

A great game that's fun and humorous. Has a parody like spin to The Lord of the Rings, while letting you be The Dark Lord and the protagonist at the same time. The minions are funny and full of character, and gives you the feeling of leading a horde made up of the gremlins from the movie of the same name (Gremlins, 1984). Being an older game, it requires less memory and system requirements, making it a good low resource option to play on older systems and budget builds.

I love my little Cherubs! Fun game, not that much tactical depth, but it lives through it's charm. Plus your minoins will use anything as weapon or armor, from helmets and sticks to slug body parts, crowns, sabers and vulture heads.
