Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a 2014 video game compilation developed and published by Capcom. It consists of the first three installments in the Ace Attorney series of visual novel adventure games: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (2001), Justice for All (2002), and Trials and Tribulations (2004). It was first released for the Nintendo 3DS on April 17, 2014, and was later brought to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows in early 2019; mobile versions were released in June 2022. The 3DS version uses high-definition graphics borrowed from an earlier mobile compilation, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD (2012), whereas the 2019 multi-platform versions feature original upgraded assets remade by hand, in addition to various quality-of-life changes.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Unironically the reason I became a Lawyer. I bought the trilogy on my IPad like ages ago because i remembered one of my friends always played it on his DS. and I got it at a time where all my friends were applying to colleges and I didn't know what to do. I've always been good at arguing and I liked mysteries and I'd always predict stuff. But this game gave me the push I needed and made me just say "Hey, I could do this." I've really liked the silly humor, and how clever some of the secrets were for it's time. But my favorite part the soundtrack. the music in this game really elevates the atmosphere and it just sounds right. It's been almost a decade now, and although it's not as hard as i remember and the game might be childish and silly at times, it still hold a dear place in my heart.
I've barely seen any Ace Attorney content before even on Youtube, so the main push to buy it was from my friends during a sale, and let's just say I was not disappointed. I'd say it's completely worth it even at full price, and that's a high standard coming from someone as stingy as I am. The game is wonderfully written with stories that unfold naturally, with enough hints to intrigue us as a player. I like how in some cases the answer were given to us directly, and we had to patch the clues together, while others it was completely whirlwind of emotions to get to the truth. It does an awful good job of making you second guess your decisions and theories when it builds tension. The characters are an excellent example of writing memorable but dynamic models, which feels very essential for a game based on being a lawyer and solving crimes, because of the fact you have to delve into motives. I've quickly gotten attached to Phoenix and Edgeworth, especially Edgeworth, I've found myself laughing at the way he acts. It's amusing. This brings me to my next point, the humour in this game is amazing, overdone at times, but still very entertaining to read along. I personally find it hard to catch it, but nevertheless, for the ones I did, it was an extra cherry on the top. The art is beautiful, and sets the scenes very well. The animations within some of the scenes are also smooth and the investigation had quite a bit of variety in trying to find clues, and the different types of tools that were used to figure out the truth. My only complaint? As with puzzle games, I am sometimes not very on top of the story, so it's easy to fail a case because of the mistakes I make. But I find the more I played, the more I realised the game just rewarded the effort you placed into actually solving the puzzles. It's tempting to brute force it, by trying all possible options, which I did, but the more I learnt how the game worked, how the evidence must be directly related, the easier it was to actually sit there and think what was the right piece of evidence. Expanding on some minor faults, there are some parts of the game you cannot pause or save at, which makes sense, as they're usually scenes. The only other part that really ticked me off was how accurate some of the puzzles has to be (the case with the Blue Badger). But here's the good thing, most of these are just personal experiences (mistakes), and the nature of the game. It's very easily fixable, and has nothing to do with the fundamental game itself. Overall, I just want to thank all the people who were involved in this game. I love it! I can't wait to play the rest of the cases and rewatch all of them again like a movie. Please definitely buy and enjoy the game if you see it on sale and consider it anyway if it's not. I think a lot of people will enjoy it. Thank you and that's it from me today <3
They should add more into this game , a little missing content like the orchestra .
