Another great game! Planet of Lana II is a great sequence with more gameplay mechanics, better and more complex puzzles with the same great art style and sound design. It will be a third game and I'm counting the days to see the rest of this journey!
When Planet of Lana II came out, I was apprehensive about playing it because I thought "How can you top the first game?" Thankfully I was proved wrong! This second instalment to the series is excellent. They are both wonderfully crafted stories with hauntingly beautiful graphics. All of the elements that we all loved in POL I were incorporated into II and expanded upon (such as swimming sequences however this time there were entire underwater puzzles to navigate). As with the first game, the story in POL II evolved and unfolded with an organic flow the allows for optimum absorption: you aren't playing a game so much as living a new life, in a new world. Of course, your faithful companion Mui is along for the journey. Most of the puzzles can be solved with easily enough but requiring enough effort to make an enjoyable challenge. Some challenges required repeat and fail until I learned the solution but it was a very enjoyable process. If I was pressed for a fault of the game, I would struggle to find one. I wouldn't consider this a criticism but just a footnote and that is it didn't really have the stunning auto-sequences that POL I had (such as the boat scene on the ocean with the whales swimming underneath), although you don't really feel anything is missing. Some of the more challenging sequences really got my blood pumping, requiring split-second decisions and precision jumping skills! I look forward to the third instalment and also look forward to future games created by Wishfully.
everything about this game its just perfect the story: 10/10 the music: 10/10 Gameplay: 9/10 the graphics: 10/10
