Zombies are invading your home, and the only defense is your arsenal of plants! Armed with an alien nursery-worth of zombie-zapping plants like peashooters and cherry bombs, you'll need to think fast and plant faster to stop dozens of types of zombies dead in their tracks.

Runs well on modern hardware.

EA and brapcap don't even know how to remaster 2009 2d mobile games without bloating filesizes, using ai and introducing 6 gorillion new issues that never even existed in the original (and obviously charging more money for it) just get this instead, pvz replanted is soulless digital slop
even tho it's a classic, pvz remains a masterpiece of game design that anyone can enjoy you can really feel the love the developers put into it, from the creative variety of levels to the hilarious pop-culture references the GOTY edition is a must-play for everyone and considering the fact that there are tons of amazing mods, this game is totally worth its money
Just an absolutely amazing and classic tower defense game. I know my review is belated years after I beat the main campaign on PC but I have loved the franchise for 10 years and am mad at myself for not having reviewed this game sooner. The gameplay is so simple and after playing the main game through a couple of times the gameplay loop can become quite mindless but it is still peak. I think the simplicity allows for all of the creative challenge videos that I love watching on YouTube. So many things about the game aren’t just good: they are memorable. All of the plants have personality and they aren’t all just reskins of each other. The soundtrack never gets old and is immediately recognizable. The art direction is nothing to sleep on as well, the design of both the plants and the zombies are full of charm and are cute. And there’s a zombie on your lawn is an absolute banger and you can’t convince me otherwise. Just please play this game, it is one of the most memorable indie games imo
