PowerWash Simulator 2 is a simulation video game developed and published by British studio FuturLab. It is the sequel to PowerWash Simulator (2022), and builds on that game's core gameplay with additional mechanics. The game was released in October 2025 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.

Runs well on modern hardware.

I really liked PW1 but this is worse than it is now. Gameplay is pretty much the same but with more powerful power washers. There is way less content and it is not as good as in PW1. The furniture mechanics are boring and pointless. The cosmetics were already stupid in PW1 and are extended upon here. New Stuff like the lift is very clunky to use, the surface cleaner is even worse. The achievements of all DLCs are included in base game as it is in PW1, which should not be allowed and is a reason to not buy the game. While performance wasn't that bad in PW1, it is now. Graphics are very basic, so hundreds of fps are expected. Most of the time my GPU struggles to get 120 fps on 4k medium with 0.8 render resolution. With lower resolutions anti aliasing cannot keep up, so you get jagged edges. You cannot set custom FPS limits, so no 160 cap. If FPS are capped, you get very noticeable and frequent stutters. Steam Overlay shows lows in the region of 5-20 fps constantly. If FPS are uncapped, the stutters get worse.
Chores Irl = bad Chores in game = meh Chores in game + ding noise = good
At times, I can't help but wonder if I'm really allowed to use this much water. Good thing the water seems to be free. XD
