Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. The story is set in a fictionalized representation of the United States in 1899 and follows the exploits of Arthur Morgan, an outlaw and member of the Van der Linde gang, who must face the challenges of a declining Wild West, while attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The game is presented through first- and third-person perspectives, and the player may freely roam its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, robberies, hunting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character's honor rating through moral choices and deeds. A bounty system governs the response of law enforcement and bounty hunters to crimes committed by the player.

Runs well on modern hardware.

It may sound dramatic, but I really do wonder if I will ever play something this great again. A beautiful experience in every aspect. Multiplayer is the only reason this game loses points. Filled with hackers/modders, and entirely abandoned by rockstar.
RDR2 is easily in my top 5 games I’ve ever played, and honestly, I think it could be there for almost anyone who manages to get through the prologue without dropping it. It took me like 5 attempts to finally force myself through it 😁 There are tons of little tricks that can make the game faster and more convenient, but I honestly recommend not looking up guides or tips and just playing it however you naturally do. After a few hours past the prologue, you kind of stop playing RDR2 and start living in it. It’s slow at first, but once it clicks, it doesn’t let you go. And I think it’s much better when you discover everything yourself instead of trying to optimize the experience. I played the whole game without fast travel, just riding everywhere. I bought a bunch of horses and then lost them because of the story, wasted money on horses I could’ve just stolen, spent money on completely useless ♥♥♥♥ and then walked around with a terrible inventory, did weird side activities, went hunting and nearly got myself killed for animals that sometimes weren’t even worth it 😂 And that’s exactly why I love it. The game doesn’t force you into one perfect way of experiencing Arthur’s story. You make stupid decisions, waste money, get attached to characters, hate some of them, get into random ♥♥♥♥ and slowly build your own version of the journey. Sure, everyone reaches the same ending, but how you get there is completely yours. RDR2 is a straight 10/10, and Arthur Morgan is easily one of the best protagonists I’ve ever played.
Yes the story feels slow at start as i never played any slow paced game , but after chapter 1 i was completely grabbed by the storyline, the characters, the soundtrack and the mechanism is really good. Playing this felt like i was Arthur Morgan which really lead to enjoying every mission, side quests and interactions with npcs. Personally i feel like there is no game with this depth of game mechanics and gameplay wise, At last the story, what should i say just play yourself for me its 10/10 in all expectes this really taught me patience which gives reward later.
