Resident Evil 2 is a perfect remake that shows how horror games should be remade. The atmosphere of Raccoon City is truly flawless. Every corridor is narrow, every sound is unsettling, and you constantly play with the feeling of "what's going to happen next?". The game takes the classic zombie theme to new heights with modern graphics and excellent sound design. The separate stories of Leon and Claire significantly increase the desire to replay the game. While the puzzles retain the old Resident Evil spirit, the balance between action and suspense is perfectly adjusted. Mr. X is a separate story… His entrance into the room completely changes the game's tempo and truly creates a sense of panic. The feeling that he's constantly following you is one of the game's strongest aspects. As minor criticisms, inventory management can sometimes be challenging, and some sections are overly tense, so they might not appeal to everyone. But that's the point of the game anyway.
