Resident Evil 2 is a 1998 survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom for the PlayStation. It is the second main installment in the Resident Evil series. The player controls rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield, who must escape Raccoon City after its citizens are transformed into zombies by a biological weapon two months after the events of the original Resident Evil. The gameplay focuses on exploration, puzzles, and combat; the main difference from its predecessor are the branching paths, with each player character having unique storylines, partners and obstacles.

Runs well on modern hardware.

I’m cooked. This game was scary for me. I’m going to work my way up through all of the Resident Evil games. I heard RE2 is a joke compared to the other games. 😭 9.5/10 I was js scared.
There’s really nothing to say about this game - it’s simply good(and at times even perfect) in every aspect of its gameplay and storyline. Goated game as ♥♥♥♥. 9+/10. My 2nd RE game i've ever played after RE4(2005).
Resident Evil 2 is easily one of the best survival horror games I've ever played. Every bullet matters, every hallway keeps you on edge, and the atmosphere is absolutely incredible. The police station is brilliantly designed, the puzzles are fun, and Mr. X constantly keeps the pressure on. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay feels smooth, and the replay value with different characters makes it worth coming back to again and again. 10/10. A masterpiece and one of the greatest remakes ever made. Final boss ost was fire
