Resident Evil 9: Requiem

Honestly, Resident Evil Requiem is easily one of the best games in the entire franchise. The way it constantly switches between Leon and Grace is perfect, it basically takes the best parts of RE4 and Village and mashes them together. One minute you’re playing as Leon feeling like an absolute action hero, and the next you’re playing as Grace and genuinely sweating through your shirt trying to survive. Also, this is the first PC game I’ve played since making the switch from PS5, and I am officially never going back. Seeing this game run at a super smooth framerate on PC completely ruined consoles for me. 10/10, Capcom absolutely nailed it.

This is the one. Finished and already want to beat it on all difficulties. Close to being scarier than 7, the grace sections are wild. Ending was pretty dope, Leon axe fight was goofy as hell

I've completed the story of this game twice, man! This game is so fun, an excellent good mix of horror and action into one. The new character, Grace Ashcroft VA blew me away with her performance - she's terrific. I also like the blood crafting mechanic, It got me thinking to be resourceful on to what I have. I also had a swell time playing Leon, The amount of dad jokes he utters - I'll never get bored of it hahaha. The art direction of this game is lovely, it is stunning and beautiful. Everything about it - color grading, lighting, etc. Capcom did an excellent job incorporating these minute details where everything feels authentic. Final verdict, If you enjoy a blend of survival horror and action, I highly recommend this game.
