Rez is a music rail shooter video game developed by United Game Artists and published by Sega for the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2. It was released in Japan in 2001, followed by releases to the United States and Europe in 2002. The game was ported to Xbox 360 as Rez HD by Q Entertainment and HexaDrive in 2008. A virtual reality-compatible expanded version dubbed Rez Infinite was co-developed and released through 2016 to 2023 by Enhance Games, Resonair and Monstars for PlayStation 4, Windows, Android, Oculus Quest and PlayStation 5.

After all these years, I was finally able to truly upgrade my PC to finally be able to play this game. Jesus Christ, I still don't know why it was so hard to run this game well without the stuttering. The game looks nice and all, but I still don't know why I needed so much RAM. The game isn't even that long; it was literally five levels. And we were mostly fighting in a void. But other than that, I did enjoy the game. I would just recommend playing it on the PS4 instead of overkilling your PC just to run a PS2 game.
It's a good experience even 10 years later.
