Risk of Rain is an action platformer with roguelike elements. With permanent death as a primary feature, players will have to play their best to get as far as possible. Fight on a mysterious planet with randomly spawning enemies and bosses, either alone or with 3 friends in online co-op.
Runs well on modern hardware.

I love this game, but it can feel repetitive at times. ROR2 though, is one of the best games ever made
Even if the game is almost 14 years old, I think it's one of the best roguelike games that I've ever played. Each character has their own advantage and you can create some awesome builds; the artifacts are fun too and at last the variety of items is something else.
Its a hard game.. For sure.. Frustration comes from not really getting what you are supposed to do? It took me ages to play on easy and unlock some characters that made it more playable. There are those basic roguelike annoyances like not knowing if you are going to get proper gear to even survive. But, the overall gameplay loop is satisfying, even in year 2026, combat is good and the soundtrack is godtier, it really slaps. High reccommendation
