Rocket League is a 2015 vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. A sequel to 2008's Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, Rocket League features up to eight players assigned to each of the two teams, using "rocket-powered" vehicles to hit a ball into their opponent's goal and score points over the course of a match. The game includes single-player and multiplayer modes that can be played both locally and online, including cross-platform play between all versions.

Runs well on modern hardware.

EAC was the last straw for me. Who doesn't dislike cheaters and bots but there are other ways to mitigate that, server-side. It kept kicking me out upon joining a game for unknown reasons, claiming "Anti-cheat violation detected". I tried to uninstall this and that program I had (some bloated mouse driver, a useful keyboard shortcut program etc) in case it was "offending" EAC, but it was in vain. That's fine, it made me stop and realise we DO have a violation here alright, and I'm not having it... I regret I even started it with EAC because we should never accept such invasive software anyway. You lost a non-toxic player. Bye, game. Uninstalled. Developing free version. Look out for Rocket Libre. Not even joking.
The games been going downhill ever since epic got their greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rat hands on it, with removing trading and the item shop being added, but adding EAC is the final nail in the coffin. In a SINGLE day, the amount of individual player expression allowed in this game with things like bakkesmod and the ability to change the look of the ball is just completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gone. ♥♥♥♥ you epic, you've never done anything good for this game.
Had this game since 2015 when it came out. There was a golden era, and it has long since past. Especially since Psyonix sold out to Epic Games. Unfortunately now we've reached a point of no return. Them getting rid of trading was such a scummy move, not to mention rigging every drop in the game so that even if it's an import, exotic, or even a black market your chances of getting a base game item that has been in the game since launch is higher than getting something actually cool and interesting. Obviously doing that with the express goal of just trying to get you to spend more money in the end. And now, not being able to use Bakkes Mod is the nail in the coffin for most people. No way around scummy corporate tactics and the slop that is Epic Games that has been enshittifying the game for years now. Goodbye Rocket League, and ♥♥♥♥ you Epic Games.
