Played it back in my day even got the Remastered version...fun game with Romans being kinda op infantry wise...has battle speeches,crazy generals lol...also fully translated which is a huge plus...Warhammer 3 made Sega forget about the historical total wars... overall 10/10
It is great and eternal, just like the Rome herself. Seriously, imagine playing this Total War back in 2004 - such a massive improvement from the Medieval and Shogun, players back then must have been blown away by the leap made in the series. Absolute must play even today.
Download REX for rome total war, and enjoy this classic with modern controls, and no other changes. Same old UI, same old graphics, but works on modern systems and updates the controls.
