I do not like this game. That does not make the game bad. Game good, not bad. Game fun. Game just not for me.
R&A has fallen a little barren, in my PERSONAL opinion. I've had the game since Day 1 launch and I loved experiencing the tiny little features roll along... however I'm since disappointed with the lack of expansive updates. The biggest thing this game has done since launch, at least from my memory, is adding mulitplayer & custom map building. Which are both great, however what really makes it feel limiting is how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SMALL the map is. Me personally as a gamer, I can't keep running around the same gmod_construct sized maps that can be fully in view when standing in the corner. I desparately hoped for maps that would finally expand the boundaries, and not feel like a literal square map with obstacles inside of it. But that never happened. Gameplay wise with the tricks, the game is decent. It feeks like parkour's equivalent of Skate 3 when played in third person, which is not a bad thing at all. The camera has been phasing through walls since day one, turning in the air doesn't feel like it has any momentum/weight with your limbs, uhhh some other ♥♥♥♥ lol, I haven't played in a while. I understand the game is made by a single solo developer, some will say to "temper expectations." But I say NO, because the game has passed the full release of 1.0, and doesn't seem to have many updates planned for the future post-roadmap according to the discord members. This game doesn't feel like a finished product to me. No shade to the dev, if he wants to move on then I encourage it. Buttt I really wouldn't recommend this to any of my friends, espeically when many of them have tried & quickly got bored from the game feeling unfinished lolol. Anyway review over so BYE lol
