The last game in the episodic Sam & Max trilogy, beautifully remastered! As the intergalactic villains who seek the Devil’s Toybox close in and Max’s psychic abilities grow beyond his control, the Freelance Police will come up against their most frightening adversary yet: the power of Max’s mind.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Fantastic!!!! I loved every episode. I loved how they went for a more serialized storytelling, the other games did have an overall story but this was the only one where each episode truly blead into the next. And the characters where amazing as ever! The voice acting was phenominal espeically on general Skunkape. Highly recommend. Only gripe is I wish we got more of the interrogation mechanic. R.I.P SAL
While not quite as hilarious as the other two entries in the Sam and Max trilogy, The Devil's Playground offers the most polished and satisfying gameplay of the three games by far. More so than the others, the variety and interesting mechanical ideas really spread their wings here, with a totally different and fun experience in every episode. There's obviously a lot of humor to appreciate in this game, but TDP really feels like the best game to play, being more intuitive and having a diegetic hint system. It really feels like TT/Skunkape hit their stride here, and I'm so glad I could experience this trilogy all the way through... 10/10
