Sayonara Wild Hearts is a 2019 rhythm action video game developed by Simogo and published by Annapurna Interactive. Described as a "pop album video game", Sayonara Wild Hearts follows the story of a heartbroken young woman through a surrealistic landscape. Each level of the game is set to a song, with the player guiding the woman while collecting hearts, avoiding obstacles, and fighting enemies. The game was released for iOS, macOS and tvOS through Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 in September 2019, for Windows in December 2019, for Xbox One in February 2020, and for PlayStation 5 in February 2025. It was met with positive reviews for its visuals, soundtrack, and gameplay, and nominated for several year-end awards.

I don't know dude... Just play it. It's short. If you're feeling down, have about 90min to spare, and you like music, then just do it. Just play this game. It could save your life. It might make you feel things that don't even really understand, but that's OK. And the music is soooo good. Don't google it, don't watch a youtube video, and don't even listen to the music. If youv'e got time to watch a movie, you have time to experience this. Just do it. It's just a beautiful game.
Played this on PS5, gladly bought it again on PC. It's a game I wish came around when my last ex and I broke up. Now, I push this game on people who were as lonely as I was then. Goodbye. So long. Sayonara, Wild Heart.
Really more a way to experience an album but in a more experimental and exciting fashion. About 20 segments lasting a total of a hour with a high score mechanic and movement set to the beat. Just another game I quite like from Annapurna Interactive who have a very consistent hit rate for me.
