Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem is a 2022 first-person shooter game developed by Timelock Studio and Croteam, and published by Devolver Digital. A standalone expansion to Serious Sam 4, the game was released on 25 January 2022 for Windows, and on 6 October 2022 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Way better than Serious Sam 4, disappointed with how SS4 turned out! One of the best FPS games and a step up from Serious Sam 3! :)
A fast, loud and unapologetically chaotic standalone entry in the Serious Sam series. Siberian Mayhem sticks to the formula of huge arenas, endless waves of enemies and constant movement, but wraps it in a cold, Russian-inspired setting that gives it a bit more identity than a typical expansion. Gunplay is sharp and satisfying, with a good mix of classic and new weapons. Enemy encounters are well paced and often overwhelming in a good way, forcing you to keep moving and adapting. The environments are more varied than expected, and the pacing is tighter than some earlier entries. It does not reinvent anything and can feel repetitive if you are not into arena shooters, but it fully commits to its style and executes it well. 8/10 Pure arcade shooter chaos done right
As a long time Serious Sam fan I get the feeling that Croteam doesn't really know what to do with Serious Sam these days. These levels were really long and tedious to get through, taking over an hour to in some instances. The new enemy types they introduced were all really obnoxious and ruined the flow of combat. This game suffers from a lot of the same problems Serious Sam 4 had of just needlessly overcomplicating and "modernizing" Serious Sam's gameplay. The new weapons and gadgets are sort of fun to play with and the Russian theming of this game is sort of cute, but that's about all the good this game really has to offer.
