Severed Steel is a stylish and visceral single-player FPS featuring a fluid stunt system, destructible voxel environments, loads of bullet time, a unique one-armed protagonist, and a dark electronic soundtrack.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Super stylish movement shooter with bullet time, destructible environments and really fun level design that compliments all the other features. It's ideal for quick gaming sessions, as missions are short but satisfying. If you blast through the campaign, you'll finish it in about 2-3 hours, but the replay value is very high and there's a bunch of extra content too. There's also a good range of difficulty settings that should satisfy anyone. What I love most about this game is how it frantically encourages movement. Since you don't carry spare mags/guns, you constantly need to pick up a fresh weapon. Being able to kick (and disarm) enemies makes this gameplay loop complete. Absolute steel whenever it's on sale ;)
This is worth it when it goes on sale for a steep discount (I picked it up for about a dollar) but the game just is not worth 25 dollars at all. This game suffers from an insane amount of mechanic creep and that makes it just not very interesting if you've played any other movement shooter. The player character is way too powerful and as a result the enemies are balanced to a degree that just isn't fun. The game itself is very easy but pretty much all difficulty just feels purely unfair and random. It also lacks any polish in its movement and abilities, which is something other movement shooters thrive on. For 1 or 2 dollars (the usual price during sale) I could definitely recommend this, but at 25$ it's a robbery. There are several better fast-paced shooters priced around 25$ that are way more interesting and polished (Titanfall 2, Ultrakill, Shady Knight, Enchain, Roboquest, and Doom Eternal to name a few).
Imagine superhot, john wick, and karlson all in one but with back and front flips and the ability to dropkick. In other words, you should play this game.
