If you enjoy actually solving puzzles with your actual brain, being rewarded for curiosity immensely, and need to decompress and laugh, I highly recommend Shadows Over Loathing.
Enjoyed the prequel West of Loathing, so I had high hopes for the sequel. To say I was disappointed is an astronomical understatement. The combat is slow and tedious, the puzzles are confusing and dragged out, you are given ZERO clues and literally forced to wander for hours to progress. While the humor does stand out at parts, 90% of the game's just dragged out for the sake of making it longer, even implementing rancid RNG situations where your experience can range from decent to absolutely infuriating. The developers have truly lost their touch with this one, horrid and saddening to see, DO NOT BUY.
Looong time fan of Kingdom of Loathing and this game (as well as West of Loathing) is such a treat!! It plays a lot like how you might expect the browser-based game to, while giving a more cinematic experience.
