Silent Hill 2

I 100% completed this. got all the endings, found everything. and I still can't forget it. Not because of jumpscares or whatever. there's barely any. it's about the vibe, especially if you're playing with a dualsense controller. you're just walking through fog, hearing your own footsteps, and something feels wrong but you can't put your finger on it. then you open a door and there's nothing there and somehow that's worse. The original Silent Hill 2 is one of those games everyone hypes up. but unfortunately I never played it back in the day. so this remake was my first time. and yeah, it got me. The combat is kinda clunky. James swings a pipe like he's never held anything heavier than a phone. but if I want to be honest, that grew on me. he's not some action hero type ♥♥♥♥. he's just some random dude going through it. Some parts drag a little. the prison section was too long. I'll admit I got lost a few times and it annoyed me. but the last couple hours? definitely worth it. there's this one scene near the end, no fighting, just two people talking, and I had to put the controller down for a minute. One thing nobody warned me about, this game is a bit heavy. wanted to try the ray tracing and my pc sounded like a jet engine. maybe I'm overthinking it, maybe my PC is just getting old. but you know how unreal engine 5 is. stutters here and there, frame drops in open areas. still playable. just don't expect buttery smooth 120 fps with high quality on a mid-range setup. ( personal experience ) Play it alone with headphones. turn the lights off too. don't rush. just let the game do its thing. It's absolutely perfect & it stuck with me. and not many horror games can do that anymore.

Leave what must be left behind exactly where it belongs, lest you wander endlessly through a fog of your own making, forever searching for your own executioner.

моя оценка 10/10 оценка лпшки 10/10 итог 10/10 плюсы: саундтрек ебейший оно и так понятно, хорошо прописанные персонажи, атмосфера, геймплейно хорошо и приятно играется нет особо нудных моментов, приятный нагнетающий моментами геймдизайн, ачивка за просмотр хлеба, хорошее раскрытие триггерных тем минусы: камни взялись из ниоткуда хотя должна была быть анимация завала, оптимизация ♥♥♥♥♥♥, жирный не отдал крутой револьвер, моментами текстуры ♥♥♥ давали игра довольно таки часто пугала все же, лора ♥♥♥♥ убегала ♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, мария шлюха. в конце почти даже слезу пустил (если бы я проходил игру в соло пустил бы) лпкша все же дает хорошее настроение, джеймс сексуалка (от лпшки), пирамидоголовый ♥♥♥♥♥ устрашающий но не накаченный как ожидала моя лпшка
