Enter the Rhythm Dimension! A homage to classic arcade rhythm games, with a modern aesthetic and soundtrack. Match colours and beats, spin, tap, flick and flow through the juiciest beats in the universe. Supports multiple control styles including Midi DJ gear on Steam!

Runs well on modern hardware.

A beautiful take on the genre, embodied, and has a very musical feel that most Rhym games neglect. Very savvy design and flow. Highly recommended for genre fans. Input devices matter a lot here, it can be used with actual DJ equipment, but the steam deck and steam controller have excellent input with the touchpads.
If you have an old DJ controller that works as a MIDI device, this game is MEANT to be played with those. the input mapping is amazing, the custom song ecosystem with spinshare is phenomenal. there is a big learing curve. but if you wanna use your old DJ Hero controllers, save yourself the headache, since hardware modifications make it the least jank.. and just dont and instead get a cheap mobile dj controller that has a MIDI output mode
I think the idea of splitting controls in different hands is an interesting and fun one, however I can't say I enjoy it in this game. Overall the controls feel gimmicky and most of the notes don't require an input and only exist to make you align the wheel. Sometimes this works well, but more often it feels disconnected from the actual song. I'm not a fan of the song selection: out of the around 80 songs I can say I like only 4 or 5, so I won't comment much on the charting, but for these ones I think it's pretty enjoyable (especially Lovesick). I've tried a few custom charts, but they didn't feel up to the same standard as the original.
