Unfortunately, the more I use it, the more I feel the limitations of this game and more generally, it feels like it's not gonna improve in the way(s) I'd want it to. Like, sure, adding new places / spirits / clothes is always nice, but it doesn't change the fact that I still have to reopen all the widgets I need every time I start the game, that I can't even customize the widgets aside from the background color, that I can't, say, integrate the widgets in the room's decor, that I can't even position the camera differently to switch things up, that I can't randomize anything, that I can't have more than one pet out at once (so basically, I end up with always the same one, making me wonder why I even bothered finding the others), that I can't resume an ongoing pomodoro if I close the game, that I can't delete several tasks at once, that I can't associate a soundscape or a spirit companion with a given decor, and so on and so forth. It feels like like the development focus is more of the superficial aspects than on the things that really matter when it comes to this game/application's goal, which should be to help the user get things done. I've bought the kitchen and train DLCs because I wanted more variety, but at the end of the day, my issue is with the user interface, so while I'm still using the application (hello sunk cost fallacy), I'm not planning on purchasing the garden one because there's seemingly no change on all the things I've just listed.
Such a cute idle game! If you're looking for something to just have playing in the background while you study/work, this is a pretty good one 💖 You can customize EVERYTHING, from your character, your spirit companion, to the scenery, to the ENTIRE room! I do wish there were more hairstyles and types of clothing, but the customization for the decors is my favorite because there's a lot to choose from (♡´▽`♡) and the spirit companions ARE ADORABLE, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!! You can change their color too, to fit which aesthetic you prefer 💞 Apart from the customization, it's really chill. I like that when you change the sounds, it can show in the background too. It'll show snowflakes on the outside of the baywindow or leaves falling, raindrops, everything—depending on which ones you turn on. So there's quite a lot you can change and customize despite it being an idle game 💝 I really recommend this! (∩´∀`∩)💕 MY BF GIFTED ME THIS YAYYYYY
10/10. Perfect for pretending you're thriving while academically fighting for your life.
