SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is a 2025 platform game developed by Purple Lamp and published by THQ Nordic. The game is based on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. It is the successor to SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake (2023). Players swap between controlling SpongeBob and Patrick, who aim to solve a conflict between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman. It was released for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on November 18, 2025. A port for Nintendo Switch will be released on October 13, 2026.

Purple Lamp continues to improve with each new SpongeBob installment, my only complaint is that the game feels a little short.

Third time the charm right? In this case meh. I mean in the previous review of mine i asked Purple Lamp to keep do SpongeBob games, but now im asking them to stop. For example Battle for bikini bottom 24 hour playtime, Cosmic Shake 13 hour, and now Titans is 6 hour, all for the SAME 40€ PRICE TAG. The charm still there, the graphics are there, and i can guarantee that the platforming is one of the best, yet still... I mean probably you can put +6 hour to actually 100% the game, but yet its just replaying the maps for side quests and collectibles, MEH. AND DLC SKINS FOR MORE MONEY, OMG PURPLE LAMP STOP IT. Still, for a heavy discount, probs below 10€ or from humble bundle (yes it will be in the next months for sure) it worth it. Otherwise DONT BUY IT. 5/10
