Star Ocean: The Second Story R

Bueno, mucho bueno. Square enix doesnt fail to deliver with this one. A metric buttload of quality of life improvements from the original, extra dungeons, new mechanics, more im forgetting to name. A must for any SO fans. Buy it on sale though, pretty aggresively greedy pricing, and it's in the -mid- range for pricing from square enix.

There's a certain charm that Star Ocean 2 exudes when you first play it. It feels grandiose and large-than-life. The combat was my favorite part of the gameplay, it was just so engrossing and it kept being dynamic all throughout the game. The story is a charming romp through sci-fi and it is a fun ride all the way through. They definitely were cooking in the '90s man.
