Stars in the Trash brings the magic of animated movie classics into a narrative-driven platformer that combines action, exploration and puzzles. Tired of feeling trapped at home, Moka, a spoiled cat decides to run away and seek adventure. Explore, make friends, fight, and escape from the kennelman.

Runs well on modern hardware.

A beautiful and adorable, very genuinely handcrafted game looking into the life of pets and strays! The story has some really sweet and heartfelt moments between the animals, it reminded me of a movie like The Fox and the Hound (one of my favourites) where the animals go on an emotional journey together! The environmental puzzles were clever but I wish some of them had a bit more difficulty in the solution! In the community hub they've shared lots of videos and pictures of all the huge amount of work that went into this game! Thousands of drawings for the frame by frame animations, every background scene is handmade with watercolours, and the music was composed beautifully with piano and violin! Everything about this was really special and genuine!
While quite short, it tells a compelling story and the art is well done. Defiinitely worth it in the long run and a great way to support smaller developers.
