Steins;Gate 0 is a Japanese visual novel. It is the fifth game in the Science Adventure series and the sequel to Steins;Gate. Like Steins;Gate, the game is described as a "hypothetical science ADV". The player assumes the role of Okabe Rintaro in the β World Timeline.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Steins;Gate 0 is an excellent companion piece to the original game. It expands on the existing characters by exploring how they cope with the events of this alternate timeline. The story tackles themes of trauma, grief, and artificial intelligence, showing how people deal with loss while trying not to give up hope, even when it feels like there is none left. The new characters are wonderful additions to the cast, and learning about them and interacting with them is one of the game's highlights. Maho, in particular, is my favorite new character. Her relationship with Okabe develops naturally as the story progresses, and I found their interactions especially engaging. I also think the phone mechanics are an improvement over the first game, making your choices feel clearer and more intuitive. As with the original, the artwork is beautiful, and the soundtrack is excellent. I highly recommend Steins;Gate 0 to anyone who enjoyed the true ending of the first game and wants a story that meaningfully expands on its world and characters.
As long as i expected S;G 0 to be a game that would not get any closer to the original and after playing the game on all endings i can say it was wrong expectations. 0 might be even better at some aspects of the story than the original game. At least it DEFINITELY an amazing addition to original Steins Gate and worth playing! El. Psy. Kongroo.
A very worthy successor to the universe and how iconic the first game was. Characters that were given the limelight were developed pretty well, especially Maho and Mayuri, and the scope of the story was impressively expanded to cover a whole lot of worlds to really show the impact of decisions. Also Rintaro looks cool af in ts.
