Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga

it's fun game, too bad we don't have a skirmish or an option to replay the previous chapter. DEAR DEVELOPER.... please add a skirmish or training gameplay, you don't have to give EXP or gold just let me test my new squad..

It's a nostalgic game, it reminds me of games I played as a child. The story is simple but well executed and most of the characters manage to avoid being mono-dimensional, which is far more than I was expecting. Customizing your squads to serve different purposes within your army will appeal to all strategists and min-maxxers but the game is definitely beatable without obsessing over unit stats. It has lots of content for its price, and the DLC will also be appealing to people who enjoyed the base game. Definitely one of my best purchases in recent memory.

Fire Emblem but instead of single characters you build squads of up to 9 people each, with different classes and stats and traits and items. It's a great game with a lot of potential for customizing and optimizing your army. The problem is that the UI is extremely chaffed and not fun to work with at all so for me one playthrough was enough. If you are not turned off by RPGMaker style controls you may get even more mileage out of this.
