Really fun! Only got stumped in 2 small places. You don't need the hints! Just go over the things you might've thought were trivial. You'll get it.
🎮 total time played: 5 hours 🎖️ achievements: 100% (non dlc) 🖊️ rating: 9/10 fyi i haven't played the dlcs at all, so this is just a review for the base game. i love this!! this is an investigative mystery in its purest form, and i love that each "level" isn't entirely self contained, and you need to keep in mind the things you learned in past levels to deduce that happened in the present level. i think in general the story was pretty good, but i would have given it an 8/10 if it wasn't for a revelation in the final level that completely gagged me, had me slack-jawed mouth agape at how i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ missed it. very much looking forward to checking out the dlcs and the sequel too
it kinda felt like a more to the point obra dinn with less sauce and less satisfaction. obra dinn certainly had higher highs, but this game is almost equally as compelling because it has more consistency - the segmentation of mysteries makes it way less annoying because you very rarely get stuck for long. worth a play if you liked obra dinn for sure
