The Jackbox Party Pack 3

Party Pack 3 is a great starter pack, and it really feels like a pack of all the things you'd want in a Party Pack. Quiplash 2! The most iconic version of the prompt pitting classic, this one (minus the prompts) has aged the best, with a decent enough final round. This one is almost always a crowd pleaser, no notes. Trivia Murder Party is a game where you read the title and know what the deal is. Answer questions, get them wrong, go into a minigame, fail minigame, die. To the point. It's a lot more dark than it's Pack 6 offering, and has some different minigames which wouldn't return, and really it's a matter of preference over what's better to you. Fakin It is probably really cool, but due to the advent of internet gaming, not possible to play without hurdles of setting up your camera, having some decent conditions for everyone to be able to see you, and figuring out house rules for whoever in the group has no camera to speak of. Shame, but if you can get past it, great! My family loves Guesspionage, and while I can't explain it, I can say that I at least partially understand it. It requires a low amount of brain power, as you can roughly guess a % and press the higher or lower buttons. Decent premise, solid theming, potentially one note after some time. Tee K.O. is a shirt drawing simulator where you draw shirts, slap captions on shirts, and have them vote off. This game is dedicated to your one friend who can't follow a prompt to save their life and has to input random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ into the text field, as there are no rules in Tee K.O. this can potentially get super annoying, but it's a good burst of laughs. Huge recommends for a starter.

The top played in this pack with my friends is definitely Guesspionage, mostly because all the other games now have sequels in newer packs. Fakin' It is literally unplayable if you stream Jackbox, so just be warned, it's the only game out of 11+ packs to be that way, but the rest of the 4 games are still worth it. The older versions of Quiplash 2, Trivia Murder Party, and Tee K.O. are still worth booting up. Quiplash 2 has it's own unique experience and TMP has it's own rule where you can win the final round without guessing every question right, when TMP2 and TMP3 are a bit harder. Get it if it's on sale and you wanna try out older versions of classics.
