The King of Fighters XV is a 2022 fighting game developed by KOF Studio and published by SNK in Japan and Koch Media internationally for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It is the fifteenth main installment in the The King of Fighters series. It uses the same fighting system from The King of Fighters XIV (2016) involving teams composed of three members who oppose other teams, but with more accessible changes, such as more useful Climax moves or parries.

Runs well on modern hardware.

KOFXV has a giant roster and very different mechanics, especially if you're more used to other 2D games, like Street Fighter. The game has a silly personality (in a good way) and embraces it to the fullest. A lot of the characters play very differently from one another whilst still managing to keep cohesion with the rest of the cast. I was never much of a KOF player growing up, but it was always a franchise that I've admired from afar. Though I don't think I've had that moment where the game 'clicked' with me and I was just bodying foes, I still had a fun time. Give the game a go if you're interested, you just might like it too!
The characters designs in this game are so peak 😭🔥🔥 I love Fatal Fury COTW, but, what happened?
i need to play more but that will be difficult as i'm bad at it and don't want to play against real players. so i did the story mode, which was short. this was my introduction to the king of fighters because it was on sale, i think my favourite character is heidern. the story mode could definitely be longer but this has made me want to play ikari iii: the rescue due to my liking of that character. i think that the cutscenes are nice, well-animated with nice models and voice acting
