The disappearance of an ambitious engineer and his high-society wife provokes a hunt for a precious artefact. The trail leads you to the attic of their home, and the discovery of an old, peculiar dollhouse. What secrets lie within these walls?

Runs well on modern hardware.

The Room 4: Old Sins is a puzzle game and the last non-VR game in the series. In this game you once again solve puzzles and unravel a subtle story, in this one less connected to the others in the series. The puzzles in this game are set within a single large dollhouse. You'll explore the rooms within. At times, you'll have multiple rooms to work between, but it never feels like an overwhelming amount of space to search. I did need to get hints a few times, usually because I either couldn't find something small or couldn't tell that an object was moveable. It was usually pretty easy to tell what the more complicated puzzles were going for. Overall, The Room 4 is on par with the other games in the series. I thought the puzzles were just challenging enough and I enjoyed the slightly more defined story. 8/10
If you like puzzle games this is an excellent game. Stimulating and not so completely random that you are easily lost amongst the chaos and constantly need of help.
I wish there was a way to give a review for an entire game series. If you are looking at getting this game, make sure to get the first 3 as well!! The 4 games together make for a very interesting, mysterious, Lovecraft-worthy story. Story: interesting Puzzles: compelling Artwork: breathtaking Music: perfectly creepy This entire game series is a must for anyone who is a fan of steampunk and/or Lovecraft.
