TowerFall is an action indie video game created by Maddy Thorson through her company Maddy Makes Games. In the game, players control up to four archers in a multiplayer platform fighter. It was released on the Ouya microconsole in June 2013 and was later ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux, OS X, and Windows as TowerFall Ascension and to the Nintendo Switch under its original title of TowerFall.

Runs well on modern hardware.

this game had a big impact on me in my childhood and it feels so refreshing to come back to a game like this when today's games are filled with slop. everything from the art and music to the gameplay and character design is insanely good and well thought of. the sounds of the characters are just amazing they add so much personality to the character. the map and the progression of the game and lore are implemented perfectly. playing this game with siblings and friends is one of the best experiences ever, genuine fun generator. 10/10. one of the best games in the mid 2010's
Absolute cinema game, Co-op and PVP is the best. Sadly no online multiplayer/coop yet but remote play does the job just fine
Remember playing this when it came out and loving it, and then loved it when I played it again recently. Just a really cool game and a classic.
