Honestly, I just wanted a stealth action game, but yeah double incendiary shotguns are too fun.
for a 30 dollar game, it's kinda lacking in content. the main campaign will take you around 4 hours, and those 4 hours are extremely good. It's not really the length that's the problem, just the density - how many times can you replay those 4 hours? And there's not really a reason to replay it beyond unlocking cosmetics. If there were a couple new weapon unlocks hidden away in the levels, it'd be absolutely worth the price. Again, it's not at all a bad game, just slightly overpriced. Buy on sale if you want your money's worth.
This action-packed game featuring classic elements from the game F.E.A.R., including the signature "bullet-time" mechanic and stealth gameplay invites you on an enjoyable journey through the storyline. The game keeps things relatively simple: you have a handful of weapons at your disposal as you cut your way through hordes of enemies including high-ranking targets (a really great idea), while following a flexible storyline that allows you to complete all the side missions before progressing with the main storyline. As the campaign unfolds, you uncover key plot details and experience a variety of settings, culminating in a fantastic ending that doesn't disappoint. The environments are beautifully crafted, with impressive attention to detail in certain areas; the atmosphere drew me in right from the start. The game isn't particularly long, but it offers a highly entertaining experience throughout.
