Ultimate Doom

Playing this game after all these years still shows me why this game is the pioneer and grandfather of every FPS game that came after it, or else they’d all be considered ‘doom-likes’ also! There’s not many games at all which stand the test of time like the original Dooms have and it’s an absolute pleasure to see all the official/unoffical mods made with utter love from these community members, clearly having put much time into making this game survive and spicing up the environments and complete re-skins and some even completly new games out of the engine, to keep you enjoying for many hours beyond just the main games. This game still holds up to this very day highly recomend you play on ultra violence for best expeirence or nightmare if you wanna torture yourself. 10/10

I know its easy to be cynical about re-releases but id Software has been treating its old properties like royalty with these re-releases. Affordable, works out of the box, tons of togglable enhancements and come packed with tons of legacy content as well as the new anniversary campaigns. Absolutely worth your money
