Ultrakill is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Arsi "Hakita" Patala and published by New Blood Interactive. It was released on Steam through early access for Microsoft Windows on 3 September 2020. The game uses retro-style graphics reminiscent of video games from the early PlayStation consoles and combines modern movement mechanics like those of Titanfall and Doom Eternal with gameplay elements from action games like Devil May Cry.

Runs well on modern hardware.

(Caution: autism overload incoming:) As a certified ultrakiller (230 hours of gameplay as the time of review). i can safely say, that this game is one of the best pieces of media i have ever played. i love the sounds, i love the music, i love the gameplay, and i love especially the LORE, this game has some of the most intriguing and entertaining LORE i've ever seen. This game has brought me so much joy over the past few months, because i love being able to find new ways to deal with enemies and bosses. and that's the thing. ULTRAKILL has a TON of different playstyles, mine usually revolves around conduction, coins and the jackhammer, but to others, it might revolve around explosions, conduction and the S.R.S cannon, and they are all decent choices because the game is fairly balanced with its weapons. And the happiness you get when learning something new, like Projectile boosting or chargebacks is just so freaking cool. And Omg, the MUSIC. don't get me started on it. Its just so PEAK, hakita reallly did COOK with the sound design, one of my favorites is of Course, "War Without Reason" , the way the song sync's with the gameplay is just peak, especially the guitar part, its one of the most intense moments in the entire game. If you're indecisive about buying it... Just DO IT . To me it was worth every penny i spent on it, Its an unique experience everyone should at least try.
