The first in the series to include rollback netcode, prepare for blistering online matches. New moves and new battle systems have been added to further evolve the battle. Experience high-octane battles with ultra high definition pixel graphics. The tale of the Hollow Night is about to reach its climax...!

Runs well on modern hardware.

This game? Best fighting game. Why? Enkidu. Four word: Rekka. Rekka. Counter. Win. Other big boy character use fancy mixup and full range button. No. Bad. Enkidu? Big damage. Neutral? Sonic the hedgehog. Ez win. So simple, nobody figure out. No mixup. No throw. No spacing trap. Hit, hit again, hit again. When end? Never. Keep hitting. They press button and die. Good game.
Coming from 2.0 Guilty Gear strive (and before), I have to say this is the best anime fighters I've played in some time. Unlike GG Strive, this is a lot faster, but not as over the top as Melty blood. Better shield mechanic than MB, but a similar cancel system to Guilty Gears "Roman Cancel". Over all, its a strong 8 out of 10 for me. I'll be playing it for a good while. Or till Arcsys figures out WTF they're doing with strives balancing -_-;
Pretty decent no-air-dashing fighter. Still fast, still cool, lots of characters and no long animations — and then one giant bastard shakes your screen and gives you motion sickness.
