Unturned is a free-to-play open world zombie survival sandbox game by Smartly Dressed Games, a studio consisting of Canadian game designer Nelson Sexton and a community administrator who goes by "MoltonMontro". It was released for Windows, macOS, and Linux in early access on July 7, 2014. The full game released three years later, on July 17, 2017. Unturned allows players to create custom maps using an in-game editor. Cosmetics and mods can also be created using the game's Unity engine, which allows them to publish creations on the Steam Workshop. A retail version of the game was released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by 505 Games in November 2020. It was later ported to Nintendo Switch on March 21, 2024.

Runs well on modern hardware.

I am quitting UNTURNED because it's a ridiculous system. Nelson Sexton does whatever he can do to help his favorite players and curated developers. Neglecting his community and his game. Being the first ever game ive owned and played on steam with my friends, Nelson Sexton has let down me and his community with his actions and has proven himself incompetent at game design and as a leader of a community. It DOES NOT seem worth it to me and many others to continue to play or make content for this game any longer, especially if the game developer will eventually steal curated content, claim it as his own, and everyone will fall for it.
Very interesting game, its cool if you wanna learn keyboard and mouse, it was one of the first games i played on my older laptop and it help me a lot learning keyboard and mouse
Used to play this a while back, nothing much have changed except for curated servers. back then it was peak, it still is, though the multiplayer server is very limited as of now.
