Core memory game. Beautiful scenery. Amazing music. Fast engaging movement and mechanics. Decent simple adventure story.
This game is great. the only thing it lacks is an unstuck button. I got stuck in the first 15 minutes of playing. Otherwise the graphics, story and optimization is great. My potato of a PC can run it without any problems. Music is otherworldly and enhances the overall experience.
very beautiful and screenshot-worthy game. the story is alright, your typical "save the world" type story, but mechanics and its integration with environmental storytelling is extremely well executed. I saw reviews saying that the puzzles aren't "challenging" enough, and while I relate to that statement, it's also true that it's kind of hard to offer extreme challenge while also making the environment enjoyable. Make the puzzle stand out more, you need to dull the environment; OR you make the environment as beautiful as possible and make traversal not something you have to die 10 times to complete, this game is the latter. That's what makes this a great game for me. In the age of ours where the standard for "movement" games is to load the game with 100+ parkour challenges each with +5 coins and maybe 1/5 of a stamina upgrade or a metroidvania type you'll get maybe a new skill or move set. This game, only gives you about 4. You run, you jump (and double jump), you grapple, and you wall run. Of course I also get that people will get bored of this easy control scheme, and the game really is not challenging if you have good aim, but it's obvious that the team put most of their efforts into the environment and NOT the mechanics. I appreciate that a lot.
