Game is good in many ways, as long as you follow this one simple rule: don't waste your time trying to beat it on the hardest difficulty (Easy). Just play it for the story, secrets and workshop. As interesting as the AI hazards are in this game, it's clear the dev really struggled to balance them across the four difficulties, so for Easy you end up with a mixed bag of levels that never quite feel fun and at worst is effectively gambling, as the game will overwhelm you with RNG hazards that sometimes end up being impossible to dodge or predict. Hope you enjoy replaying an otherwise basic level for 5 minutes straight because RNG decided to block the tight level exit and kill you, it's slamming your head against a wall and hoping it'll let you break through. Easy turns otherwise fun levels into boring tedium, and that genuinely sucks. Again, this is only on Easy. No doubt the easier difficulties are much fairer with its AI hazards, otherwise I don't think this game would've ever had gotten its overwhelmingly positive rating lol. Squid's neat, I didn't really care for him much but it's nice that he has so, SO many lines for basically everything you decide to do, that's cool. Does feel like he's a descendent of those older flash game platformer antagonists that also talk ♥♥♥♥ to you, you know the ones. Lots of secrets in this game! There's really a lot here to like, I just wish the devs had balanced Easy to actually be somewhat enjoyable to beat.
