Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is a 2016 action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega for PlayStation 4. The game is the seventh main installment in the Yakuza series and the final main game to feature Kazuma Kiryu as the primary protagonist, and was released in Japan in December 2016. The English version was released in Southeast Asia in March 2018, and worldwide the following month. Versions for Windows and Xbox One were released in March 2021. The game was followed up by Yakuza Kiwami 2, a remake of the second game, and by Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the next chronological installment, released in 2020.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Great story, Dragon engine's combat system though is worse than seeing Nikocado Avocado's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Wish meaningful actions during in-fights cutscenes had more quick time events, otherwise it makes u feel more like a spectator than the player
The first game with the Dragon engine. I personally did not enjoy the combat as compared to the games from the older engine, as it felt like the attacks didn't pack as much of a punch. Honestly, the secret of Onomichi was a bit of a let down as I was expecting it to be wayyyyyy more different than what it was, but the ending scenes were all executed so beautifully that it's hard to really find fault with the overall outcome. Being able to seamlessly walk through buildings is great, food being one of the main ways to gain experience is also a great way to incorporate an important part of Japanese culture into the game. I love Kiryu, but I think it would have been a lot more impactful if they didn't do the fake out, but it is what it is. Overall, I really enjoyed much of the dynamics between the characters, but the combat feels a bit hollow compared to the previous installations.
grinding the clan for 100%ing was just too much, but exceptional game otherwise
