nice story, terrible fighting system. The Majima Construction minigame isnt balanced enough and sometimes the ai gets shi
Much better than kiwami 1. Leveling is less infuriating. Addittion of food system makes leveling up feel natural part of game. Everything is polished. All of kiryu's combat styles merged into one. It feels much better to play as kiryu now. Eventhough the story is good it is all over the place. At the begining of the story lots of different parties get involved to the events. It gives you the impression that solving all that would take a lot of effort. However, it takes reletively less effort. Kiryu beats up people. Half of the parties that got involved are forgotten. At the last segment a quadruble backstabbing flaovred with flashbacks happen and Kiryu saves the day. When the word END appears on the screen I was dumbfounded. You don't get to have clousure on many things.
Man coming from Yakuza 0 to Kiwami 1 and now 2 is so weird, because combat honestly gets worse. Still Yakuza is just so unique with all the substories and the World and Story, if you vibe with it you can't just stop.
